Why it matters

More than food in a box.

Christmas can feel different when life is already hard. Across the Sunshine Coast, local families are navigating rising household pressures, disrupted relationships and circumstances beyond their control.

For a family facing hardship, Christmas can heighten financial stress, loneliness and isolation. A Parcel of Peace offers practical relief. Each thoughtfully prepared hamper helps ease pressure while reminding a household that its community cares.

This year, at least 50 hampers will support families whose circumstances include a parent currently in prison.
