Rhythm Church Aura is committed to the safety and wellbeing of every child and young person. We follow the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) Safer Churches framework and the ACC Child Protection Policy.
How we keep kids safe.
Blue Card checked
Every kids leader holds a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
Safer Churches trained
Leaders complete Safer Churches child safety training through Australian Christian Churches.
Two leaders in every room
There are always at least two leaders with each group of children.
Declarations before serving
Every volunteer signs the ACC Code of Conduct and a volunteer declaration before they start.
Safe Ministry Check
We track volunteer screening and training through Safe Ministry Check, so nothing lapses.
Safe drop-off and pick-up
Children are checked in at the kids desk, and only the adult who checked them in can collect them.
Worried about a child?
We take every concern seriously. We respond in line with the ACC Child Protection Policy and Queensland law.
- A child is in immediate danger: call Triple Zero (000).
- A concern about a child at Rhythm: call 1300 MATTERS (1300 628 837) and ask to speak with a pastor, or send us a message.
