The Three Invitations

There are many different approaches in which people can come to know Jesus Christ as their Saviour. We believe that the primary objective of Jesus was to reset humanity back into a loving and caring relationship with Almighty God.

We believe at Rhythm Church, that God ALWAYS has been good. Throughout history, people didn’t always know that and may have represented him differently. But know we do know that God is good! While some may project a God of anger, wrath and judgement, however the consequences of poor human choices results in us sadly blaming others (including God).

Jesus said, if you have seen me, you have seen the Father. Everywhere Jesus went, he went about doing GOOD and healing ALL who were sick and oppressed of the devil (Acts 10:38). As such, we believe that the penalty of sin (disobedience), judgement and condemnation has been dealt with through the gracious act of Jesus willingly standing in the gap to restore humanity back to God’s original plan of relationship and harmony. While all of humanity were separated as a result of the sin of Adam (and Eve), it was Jesus’ obedience to dying for the penalty of sin to bring humanity back to a loving relationship with their Creator.

So we encourage people to find peace and meaning to fulfilling their purpose through accepting the following three invitations.

1. The First Invitation is to Receive Rest.

Jesus said, “Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Another way to say it: If you are feeling weary, tired, burned out on performance, trying to keep up with the Jones’, come and learn the unforced rhythms of grace, the way the Jesus intended.

We are living in a world of unrest. Life is chaotic, families are broken, we are living at such a hectic pace that our world is breaking. But Jesus is giving this constant invitation to live in a state of rest. Jesus is longing to give you rest.

If you are feeling anxious, weary, worn out, burned out, exhausted, you are invited to receive the rest that only knowing Jesus can give. A peace that Jesus offers if you accept his invitation.

Just say: Yes! I want that kind of rest that only Jesus offers. I’m done trying to do my way, I accept Jesus’ way to living and want to live a life of rest how Jesus intended for my life.

2. The Second invitation is an Invitation to Discipleship

“Jesus said to them, ‘Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men’” (Mark 1:17).

We are saved to serve; Through becoming a disciple, you come to discover of sense of purpose and meaning.

This invitation to discipleship is the most thrilling ever to come to mankind. Just imagine being a working partner with God in the redemption of the world! Jesus challenged, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor” (John 12:26).

Jesus also said, “If you abide in My word, then are you are My disciples indeed” (John 8:31).

You are invited to say yes! To become a disciple of Jesus. To take up the tug on your heart to follow Christ.

3. The Third Invitation is to Live in the Realm of God.

Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you” (John 15:4).

Through this constant union of belonging with God and living in the realm of God, you are never going to have to do life alone. This invitation of living in the realm of God is about seeing the ordinary in your life, become extraordinary. See Jesus takes our ordinary, and he exchanges it for the supernatural. See living in the realm of God gives every person the advantage in this life.

No man or woman has ever found complete rest apart from Christ. To the multitudes of distressed, troubled and weary He is consistently inviting, “Come unto me … and I will give you rest.”

Do you want to know rest, joy, peace, security and affection? Do you want to know what it means to belong?

Say Yes! Surrender and commit your life and your heart to Christ. You can know peace with God, peace of soul, peace of mind and joy such as you have never experienced.

If you said yes in your heart to any one of these invitations, we would love to get a gift to you to help you on your discipleship journey, simply let us know by clicking here.

Scripture says that all of heaven rejoices when just one person has a change of heart and repents from their way and follows Christ.

Praise God, congratulations for accepting the invitations.
