At Rhythm Church, we believe that every person is uniquely created by God, designed with intention, and invited into an unforced rhythm of grace. Life can often feel chaotic, full of striving, expectations, and the pressure to measure up—but Jesus offers something radically different. He calls us to walk with Him, not in exhaustion, but in rest. Our desire is to create a space where you can breathe deeply, encounter His presence, and discover the freedom found in His grace. No matter where you’ve been or what your story looks like, there is room for you here to explore faith in a way that is real, refreshing, and full of possibility.
Our heart is to help you discover that rhythm—not as a formula, but as a life-giving connection with Jesus that transforms everything. Through authentic community, Spirit-led worship, and messages centred on the finished work of Christ, we want to equip you to step fully into the life God has for you. We believe faith should not be heavy or complicated but an invitation into something better—where grace sets the pace and identity in Christ shapes the journey. Whether you’re new to church, returning after time away, or looking for a deeper understanding of what it means to follow Jesus, our hope is that you will find a place where you belong and a pathway to move forward in faith.
Rhythm Church is affiliated with Australian Christian Churches and is in good standing with fellow ACC churches (and other churches ) on the Sunshine Coast. ACC is a movement of Pentecostal Churches in voluntary cooperation. Each individual church is self-governing, but commits itself to work together with other churches in the movement for the purpose of mutual support and the spread of the gospel in Australia and the world.
The Church We See
We see a church that esteems the Word of God and the Holy Spirit, where the Holy Spirit is given permission to bring answers to the cries of our people.
We see a church that is filled with people who are hungry to know God and are equally passionate to share to all humanity the hope found in Jesus Christ.
We see a church that values community engagement aimed to replenish our society to be the best community possible through our social enterprise cafe and other community initiatives and events.
We see a church where people can receive faith for their future, hope for their circumstances, and love that endures.
We see a church that makes room for all humanity to discover the unconditional love of God.
We see a church that reaches all ages, partners, families and households to equip biblical values that bring transformation.
We see a church where people are encouraged to find their purpose, where their gifts and talents can shine, so they can walk freely in their in-Christ identity.
We see a church where the lonely can find a place to belong, where the orphaned can connect to family, where the homeless can be reunited with dignity and value, and where all people are welcome, because EVERY person matters!
We see a church that fosters an environment where people can have their soul restored, where the sick can be made well, where people with additional needs can be accepted and loved.

We exist to help people encounter the goodness of God in a way that is deep, personal, life-giving, and transformative.
Too often, God is misunderstood—seen as distant, demanding, or conditional in His love. But Jesus revealed the truth: God is good, His love is unwavering, and His desire is for us to walk in relationship with Him, free from shame and fear.
At Rhythm Church, we are passionate about creating an environment where people can experience this reality firsthand, not just through words, but through the presence of God, the warmth of community, and the tangible expression of His grace.

Our Beliefs
Rhythm operates from a core belief that Jesus Christ is the answer and hope for humanity. Everything we do comes from a belief of bold faith, real love, and authentic community. We are community-focussed and Christ-centred in our approach. We believe that the reason Jesus exists is to restore people back to a whole and loving relationship with their Creator, Almighty God.

The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word. It is accurate, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.
God: The Holy Trinity
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
A Broken Humanity
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
Jesus is the Answer!
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
Forgiveness Through Christ Alone
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
The Holy Spirit
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Our Purpose
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the community in which we live.
God’s Plan is Good!
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
Our Eternal Destination
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus Will Come Again
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
