Four areas to measure our generosity.

At Rhythm Church, we believe that as Christians we have been called to be generous in four specific areas:

Generosity of our Time: In a world that is hungry for attention. Being available to advance the Kingdom of God is something where believers can make a difference. This can be in our serving at church, our community programs, hosting people to strenthen relationships etc.

Generosity of our Talent: If we have skills, it is vital that we recognise those skills are first from God and they can help build the kingdom of God.

 

Generosity of our Tongue: A lot can be said about how we speak life into our circumstances. We can be generous with what we say to others, to God and to ourselves. Lets build up, speak encouraging words and see our world increase through our words.

Generosity of our Treasure: Understanding that God first blessed each of us, makes a big difference in our approach of how we handle our finances. Generosity is the New Testament benchmark. The tithe (10%) was the Old Testament standard. For some, giving over and above 10% is a calling and living generously. Scripture talks about the widow that gave her last coin (her 100%) to God and how God blessed and honoured her.
