Christmas Hampers
This Christmas will be very different to previous years for many families across our incredible city of the Sunshine Coast. So much has happened in the past 12 months that has caused financial stress on increasingly more people. Rhythm is your local charity that brings relief for many hurting families through our annual ‘Parcels of Peace’ hamper campaign.
Due to the overwhelming need, Rhythm is seeking generous donations of non-perishable items, new toys and food gift cards to donate to ‘at-risk’ families this Christmas.
Selected recipients are victims of domestic abuse, households with disabilities in addition to 50+ households across the Sunshine Coast that have parent/s in prison and subsequently cannot purchase gifts and toys for affected children.
In previous years, Rhythm Initiative have received generous community donations, that have helped over 200 households right here on the Sunshine Coast. This year, we know that there are more people in need due to the financial stress many are facing.
‘Parcels of Peace’ is our way of giving back into the local community in helping households ‘doing it tough’. Valued at over $150, every hamper brings a sense of peace for many ‘at-risk’ families right in our local community of the Sunshine Coast.
